Gintra returned to action after the summer break on Saturday. Beginning the second half of the season with a refreshed squad, the Lithuanian champions secured three Baltic League points.

Despite conceding first in Tallinn, the yellow-and-blacks 8:1 (3–1 at half-time) comprehensively defeated last year's Baltic League and Estonian champions Flora Tallinn.

Gintra now have four Baltic League points. They will seek three more next Wednesday, 23 July, when they host Riga FC at Šiauliai Central Stadium at 18:00.

Captain Algimantė Mikutaitė and Eitvydė Partikaitė missed the match through injury.

„Flora“: A. Jotkina (17' min.) – 1.

The visitors from Šiauliai started more confidently, controlling the opening ten minutes and creating opportunities for an early goal, but they could not take them.

The game then became more even, and the hosts capitalised on a misunderstanding in Gintra's defence to take a 1–0 lead.

The setback did not unsettle Steve Beeks' side, who continued to dominate midfield. Lidiane Ribeiro won a dangerous free kick which produced an equaliser: new signing Tamara Brown headed in Laura Spenazzatto's delivery in the 28th minute for 1–1.

Gintra maintained their intensity and their high press paid off. After winning possession near the opponents' penalty area, Spenazzatto delivered an excellent pass and Brown finished with precision for her second goal, putting Gintra 2–1 ahead.

Just before half-time, Spenazzatto increased the lead to 3–1 with a powerful shot from 16 metres that gave the goalkeeper no chance.

The visitors continued to battle after the restart and were rewarded again. Another newcomer, Madison Bowers, scored her first goal for the club from K. Idowu's cross to make it 4–1.

The hosts conceded a fifth in the 58th minute. Gintra again made their aerial dominance count, this time with Ribeiro heading her first goal for her new club to make it 5–1.

A Tallinn player was sent off for a heavy midfield challenge on Brown. Following substitutions by Beeks, striker Meida Proscevičiūtė took her opportunity off the bench to score for 6–1.

Late goals from Bunmi David and Victoria Igbonoba put the finishing touches on Gintra's biggest win of the season, 8–1.
