With the 2024 season barely finished, Gintra continue building next year's squad and announce another signing update.
Promising Finnish goalkeeper Liisa Tuomi, 21, has extended her stay for another season. She joined the yellow-and-blacks last summer and has already represented them in Champions League qualifying.
Tuomi debuted in the Baltic League third-place match. Her excellent reactions in the penalty shootout, including decisive saves, secured bronze for Gintra.
Liisa spent most of her Finnish career at hometown club Honka Espoo, joining training aged seven. At eighteen, she briefly represented fellow Finnish side JYKP. She first played abroad in 2023, on loan from Honka to Sweden's Linköping.
"Liisa is the second player to commit early, and we're happy there will be more. This is recognition for our organisation. We're pleased players want to stay, value the opportunity and are determined to pursue the highest goals together," said director Mantas Radavičius.
Last week, the club also confirmed Brazilian Sabrina Amorim would remain for the coming season.
