Gintra of Šiauliai, representing Lithuania in the elite UEFA Women's Champions League for the 22nd time in the club's history, have learned their qualifying opponents for the 2026–2027 season.

The draws for the first and second qualifying rounds were held at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland on Thursday. Gintra's high ranking coefficient allows them to begin in the second round.

The draw paired Šiauliai's women's team with Scottish champions Hearts of Edinburgh, Danish champions HB Køge and the winners of Group 3 in the first qualifying round. Four teams will compete in that group, including Latvian champions Riga FC.

Gintra face Hearts in the qualifying semi-final. On the same day, the Danish side meet the first-round qualifiers for the other place in the final.

On Friday, Denmark's HB Køge were confirmed as tournament hosts. Gintra had applied to stage the tournament for a fourth consecutive year, but the draw favoured the Danish club this time.

The final for a place in the main UEFA Champions League competition takes place on 8 August. Teams that do not win the tournament can continue in the second-tier UEFA Europa Cup, provided they finish at least third in the group.

The first qualifying round of that competition is scheduled for 26 August–2 September, with the second on 23–30 September.
