In the 19th minute, Nordsjælland midfielder Signe Antvorskov was left completely free near the edge of the penalty area and punished Gintra with a second goal: 0–2.

Midway through the half, the Danish runners-up exploited another gap, and Anna Walter scored again to make it 0–3.

Steve Beeks's side created chances later in the first half, but neither Briana Taylor nor Laura Spenazzatto could score to restore the contest.

With nothing to lose after the break, Gintra pressed high. A defensive mistake gave B. Taylor an opportunity to score the visitors' first, but the Danish goalkeeper reacted to save.

In the 55th minute, Lidiane Ribeiro headed into the net, only for the assistant referee's flag to signal offside.

Nordsjælland regained the initiative as the half progressed and controlled the match confidently. Despite Gintra's efforts, the hosts scored twice more near the end to complete the game.
