Last Friday, 5 December, brought joy, energy and genuine football emotion as the ongoing Galime daugiau social project held an event for the third consecutive year. Gintra of Šiauliai and project patron Gubernija deliver the initiative together, with this year's format even more dynamic and inclusive.

This year's activities moved into a spacious sports hall. Twenty girls from Šiauliai children's day centres Saulės vaikai and youth club Tarp savų could try football in an interactive session led by Gintra Academy coach Gabrielė Vasilenko and other Gintra players.

The session used games, fun tasks and competitions to encourage reactions, courage and teamwork. Everyone had opportunities to win special prizes, and participants received gifts provided by Gubernija afterwards. The active session let the girls experience real football training and feel like footballers themselves.

Gintra players shared their experiences, discussed the importance of sport and explained how football develops determination, confidence and life skills. Warm conversations and active tasks created a playful, motivating atmosphere.

'Seeing the girls' emotions and enthusiasm is indescribably rewarding. These meetings inspire us as mentors too. During the session they were already asking when the next one would be, so the project clearly creates value and produces results,' said girls' coach G. Vasilenko.

'We are delighted the project continues and gains meaning each year. Galime daugiau connects organisations, builds social ties and gives girls a real opportunity to discover sport. During its three years, several girls have joined our organisation and become full members,' said Gintra Director Mantas Radavičius.

Project patron Gubernija also emphasised its importance: 'We see great value in contributing to positive community change. Initiatives like this inspire and help create an environment where children can grow, improve and confidently find their path,' said Algirdas Čiburys, head of MV GROUP Production, which owns Gubernija.

The project aims to reduce social exclusion, strengthen children's motivation and help girls discover an athlete's path. Favourable conditions will be provided for anyone wishing to attend football training, because every girl can achieve more.
