Women's A League action returned to Lithuania's stadiums after a two-week break. In round five, Gintra of Šiauliai travelled to face Banga of Gargždai.
The multiple national champions demonstrated their superiority with a win by 3:0 (1–0 at half-time) and remain alone at the top of the table.
Canadian striker Kiyani Johnson made her first appearance in yellow and black this season. After a long rehabilitation, she returned to the pitch in the second half.
Starting lineup: A. Herasymchuk, T. Romanovskaja, G. Knutzen (76' min. A. Kazarina), L. Kubiliūtė, S. Amorim (63' min. M. Galkina), A. Mikutaitė, A. Šveckutė, J. Dias (46' min. L. Ribeiro), T. Brown (63' min. M. Proscevičiūtė), K. Pereviznyk (76' min. K. Johnson), J. Blaževičiūtė.

Artūr Sikorskij's team took the lead in only the second minute. Kristina Pereviznyk controlled Tamara Brown's pass into the penalty area and finished to put Gintra 1–0 ahead.
Julia Dias had an excellent chance to double the lead in the 25th minute, but the Brazilian shot wide. Moments later, Sabrina Amorim's powerful free kick rattled the woodwork.
The Šiauliai side could not convert further chances before half-time and went into the break with a narrow advantage.
Despite substitutions, the early part of the second half was also uneven for the champions. Errors prevented them from using their possession advantage effectively and scoring a second goal.
In the 69th minute, however, a worked corner led to K. Pereviznyk firing powerfully from inside the penalty area for her second goal, strengthening Gintra's lead at 2–0.
Striker Meida Proscevičiūtė had the final word, using her pace on a counterattack. She received goalkeeper Alla Herasymchuk's pass, escaped the defence and finished into the far corner to settle the contest at 3–0.
