Ahead of the year's most beautiful holidays, Gintra visited Šiauliai's Saulės vaikai children's day centre for a cheerful afternoon with its children.
The champions introduced themselves, discussed the recently completed World Cup, asked which teams and players the children admired, and talked about other sports and the coming holidays.
In the gym, they explained football's main rules, performed greetings, team acknowledgements and the draw, then split into teams to recreate the thrilling Argentina–France World Cup final.
Both sides created dangerous chances in a fiercely contested, eventful match. Unlike Sunday's actual final, France won this encounter 4–2.
After the whistle, the players offered holiday wishes and gifts from partner Gubernija. The children thanked them for the visit and memorable match and invited them back.
Strengthening their partnership each year, Gintra and Gubernija aim to highlight social issues, encourage children's physical activity and participation, and build social connections.
