The Baltic Women's League finals took place in Riga on Assumption Day. Multiple Lithuanian champions Gintra of Šiauliai faced Riga's RFS in the bronze-medal match.

In the contest for bronze, Artūr Sikorskij's Gintra won by 5:0 (1–0 at half-time), giving the Riga side no chance, avenging their early regular-season defeat and claiming the medals.

Strikers Kristina Pereviznyk and Anni Hakasalo, goalkeeper Alla Herasymchuk and defender Gracie Knutzen were unavailable.

Starting lineup:  G. Vasilenko (K. Galdikaitė 68'), M. Yancey, L. Kubiliūtė (U. Grincevičiūtė 68'), S. Amorim (A. Kazarina 59'), A. Mikutaitė (A. Šveckutė 68'), M. Galkina (A. Diachenko 68'), T. Brown, L. Ribeiro (T. Romanovskaja 59'), J. Dias, J. Blaževičiūtė (E. Mideva 59'), V. Lavreniuk (M. Proscevičiūtė 46').

Gintra: A. Mikutaitė (31'), M. Proscevičiūtė (47'), J. Blaževičiūtė (49'), E. Mideva (76') and A. Kazarina (85'), one goal each.

The first 20 minutes produced few dangerous moments. Play took place mainly in midfield or around the edge of the penalty areas, leaving the goalkeepers with little to do. There was plenty of physical contact, however, and frequent whistles for fouls.

Shortly after the half-hour mark, captain Algimantė Mikutaitė showed her skill after receiving Viktorija Lavreniuk's cross, finishing neatly into the far corner to put the Šiauliai side 1–0 ahead.

Neither team could produce another successful attack before half-time.

Gintra set about settling the contest immediately after the break. Substitute Meida Proscevičiūtė was in the right place in the 47th minute to follow up Julia Dias's shot against the post and make it 2–0.

Two minutes later, a third goal followed. Sabrina Amorim won the first ball from a well-delivered corner and set up Justina Blaževičiūtė, who beat the goalkeeper again for 3–0.

The Šiauliai side then took complete control and enjoyed their football. A. Sikorskij used every available substitution, and players coming off the bench also scored.

In the 76th minute, Elizabeth Mideva scored her first goal in a Gintra shirt. Agnieška Kazarina also found the net in the 85th to make it 5–0.

Gintra were due to return to Lithuanian A League action on 26 August against TransINVEST of Vilnius district. However, that match cannot take place on the planned date because of UEFA Europa Cup qualifying.

In the first UEFA Europa Cup qualifying round, Šiauliai's women's team face Austrian heavyweights SK Sturm Graz.

The first leg will be away on 26 August, with the return in Šiauliai on 2 September.
