Missed chances lead to dropped points against Hegelmann

Gintra could not begin the third cycle of Topo centras Euronics A League fixtures with a victory.

At home, the Lithuanian champions failed to convert their superiority into goals and had to settle for a draw 0:0 (0–0 at half-time) against Hegelmann of Kaunas District.

Despite dropping points, the yellow-and-blacks remain league leaders.

Gintra controlled almost the entire match but could not finish their chances. The visitors' compact defence repelled every attempt until the final whistle.

Next weekend brings an important home A League meeting with closest rivals Vilnius MFA Žalgiris-MRU. The match takes place at the central stadium on 31 August at 17:00.
