Lithuanian champions Gintra will represent Lithuania in the elite UEFA Women's Champions League for the 21st time in the club's history. The 2025/2026 qualifying draw was held at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland on Tuesday.
Gintra were drawn in Group 5, where they will compete for the only place in the next round against Romanian champions FCV Farul Constanța, Ukrainian champions Vorskla Poltava and the winners of first-round Group 6. That group contains the champions of Kosovo, Georgia and Northern Ireland. The final participant in second-round Group 5 will therefore be known on 3 August.
Gintra face Romania's FCV Farul in the semi-final on 27 August. The Ukrainian side will contest the other semi-final that day against opponents to be confirmed later.
It was also confirmed that Šiauliai, Lithuania, will host the UEFA qualifying tournament for the third consecutive year, from 27 to 30 August.
The final for a place in the main Champions League competition takes place on 30 August. If Gintra fail to win the final and reach the Champions League group stage, they will continue in the UEFA Women's Europa Cup, which launches this season.
The first round of that competition is scheduled for 10–11 September, with return legs on 17–18 September.
