Gintra are just one victory away from a 20th consecutive Lithuanian title. In a rearranged round-11 Topo centras Euronics A League match, they avenged their earlier defeat to TransINVEST of Vilnius District at home.

Olli-Pekka Ojala's side defeated their opponents 3:0 (2–0 at half-time), extending their lead over their closest rivals and giving themselves a chance to settle the title next round.

After the international break, Gintra travel to Gargždai on 3 November. Victory would end any theoretical chance of catching the yellow-and-blacks and secure their 20th consecutive gold medals.

Starting lineup:  L. Tuomi, A. Mikutaitė, S. Amorim (76' K. Hawkinson), R. Beal, T. Romanovskaja, M. Hagstrom, L. Kubiliūtė (84' M. Proscevičiūtė), S. Jaatinen (58' T. Shamase), E. Šupelytė, A. Kazarina, T. Seara.

Goals:

Gintra: A. Kazarina (23', 67' min.) - 2, T. Seara (40' min.) - 1.

Following last week's excellent display in Vilnius, Gintra again began confidently. The hosts controlled possession and created chance after chance. Agnieška Kazarina rose highest to head in the opener in the 24th minute.

Gintra maintained their pressure in the opponents' half. TransINVEST tried their luck from distance but missed the target. Before the interval, another dangerous attack produced a goal: Kazarina shot, the goalkeeper parried, and Trista Seara reacted first to double the lead to 2–0.

In the 53rd minute, Silja Jaatinen's delivery struck the post rather than finding a teammate. Erika Šupelytė reacted quickest to the rebound but could not score.

A few minutes later, the visitors threatened from a set piece, but Liisa Tuomi saved Gabija Valiukevičiūtė's shot.

Captain Algimantė Mikutaitė won possession in midfield and passed accurately to Seara, who outwitted the goalkeeper. Kazarina supplied the final touch into the net for 3–0.

Another goal nearly arrived in the 84th minute, but Šupelytė's excellent free kick struck the post, sparing the visitors a fourth.
