Having secured their 20th consecutive Lithuanian title and 23rd overall, Gintra have begun shaping next season's squad. Brazilian Sabrina Gonçalves Amorim, 21, will continue wearing yellow and black.

After establishing herself with solid performances this season, she readily accepted the offer to stay and was pleased to continue representing Gintra.

Amorim suffered an injury early in the season but returned after recovery and steadily earned greater trust from the coaches. Her versatility and mobility allowed her to contribute in different positions as required.

Sabrina began at Barra da Tijuca in Brazil, then moved to Fluminense RJ. In 2022, she joined the organisation of top-flight Corinthians Paulista, who became national champions in 2023. Competing for first-team places meant facing even Brazilian internationals. She values the experience and lessons, but had long considered moving to Europe to begin an overseas career. Gintra's interest made that possible.

"Sabrina was a reliable starter throughout the season. Despite her youth, she performed consistently and confidently, showing exemplary fighting spirit, dedication and hard work in training. In familiar surroundings next season, we hope she can flourish further and show her full potential," said director Mantas Radavičius.
