Round four of the Lithuanian Women's A League took place on the Saturday before Easter, bringing Gintra's first away match of the season.
In the capital, the yellow and blacks drew 0:0 (0–0 at half-time) with FK Žalgiris of Vilnius, dropping their first points of the 2026 A League season. Nevertheless, Artūr Sikorskij's side remain sole leaders with ten points.
Canadian striker Kiyani Johnson remained unavailable.
Starting lineup: A. Herasymchuk, T. Romanovskaja, G. Knutzen, L. Kubiliūtė, S. Amorim, A. Mikutaitė, L. Ribeiro (79' min. J. Dias), M.Galkina, A. Kazarina (46' min. M. Zulu, 63' min. T. Brown), K. Pereviznyk, J. Blaževičiūtė (79' min. M. Proscevičiūtė).
Both teams began cautiously, with the first dangerous chances taking more than ten minutes to arrive. Žalgiris threatened from two consecutive corners, while Kristina Pereviznyk and Justina Blaževičiūtė lacked accuracy at the other end.
The score remained unchanged midway through the half, and the visitors struggled to turn territorial superiority into chances. Despite numerous errors, they increasingly occupied the opponents' half. In the 40th minute, Marija Galkina's pass could have sent J. Blaževičiūtė through, but goalkeeper Aušrinė Bikutė came out in time to clear the danger.
Referee Rasa Grigonė ended the first half with neither team having scored.
A. Sikorskij made a substitution and reorganised the tactics at half-time, replacing Agnieška Kazarina with Misozi Zulu. In the 48th minute, K. Pereviznyk almost reached J. Blaževičiūtė's sharp pass into the penalty area but could not quite get a shot away.
In the 57th minute, J. Blaževičiūtė controlled a high pass in attack, but a defender blocked her in time to prevent a shot. Moments later, the hosts responded through Irina Postol, whose effort was safely dealt with by Alla Herasymchuk.
A. Sikorskij was forced into another change when M. Zulu, who had only come on at half-time, felt pain and could not continue. Canadian Tamara Brown replaced her.
Gintra pressed their opponents increasingly hard and created two more dangerous moments, but neither Sabrina Amorim nor K. Pereviznyk found the target.
As normal time ran out, the yellow and blacks were still searching for the opener. S. Amorim could have headed in during the 82nd minute but lacked accuracy.
Gintra's next A League fixture is after the international break. On 26 April, they travel to Gargždai to face Banga.
