Gintra enter the summer break having strengthened their Lithuanian Women's A League position. Away from home, the champions 4:0 (4–0 at half-time) gave Banga Gargždai no chance and moved three points clear of closest challengers MFA Žalgiris-MRU.

Lineup: A. Schroeder (46' min. A. Bikutė), A. Mikutaitė (C) (75' min. N. Klezaitė), L. Kubiliūtė (46' min. S. Lichareva), T. Romanovskaja, K. O’Brien, R. Diodati, A. Sunday, M. Galkina, J. Sunday, E. Šupelytė (83' min. S. Railaitė), J. Bassey.

Goals:

„Gintra“: J. Bassey (16', 39') – 2; J. Sunday (22'), A. Sunday (35') one each.

After Žalgiris-MRU drew with FK Vilnius last round, Gintra wanted to consolidate sole leadership before the break. Petkov's team began actively in Gargždai and established their advantage in the first half.

Juliet Bassey's solo run put the visitors ahead in the 16th minute. A few minutes later, her namesake Sunday doubled the lead.

Abigail Sunday and Bassey added further goals before half-time to make it 4–0 and remove any remaining uncertainty.

The second half was a formality, with Gintra unable to convert further chances.

After the holiday, important Baltic League home matches await: MFA Žalgiris-MRU on 22 July and Estonian champions Flora Tallinn on 30 July, both at Šiauliai Central Stadium.

A League action resumes on 26 July against Utenis.
