Victory in the penultimate round of the Topo centras Euronics Women's A League secured Gintra's 20th consecutive Lithuanian title, an outstanding achievement both nationally and across Europe.
In round 19, Gintra 5:0 (2–0 at half-time) comfortably defeated Banga Gargždai away, adding three points and becoming impossible to catch.
Only Bosnia and Herzegovina's multiple champions SFK 2000 Sarajevo have recorded a comparable period of domestic dominance.
It is Gintra's 23rd Lithuanian women's championship overall. Their first title came in 1999, and the uninterrupted run of dominance began in 2005.
The yellow-and-blacks close the 2024 season next weekend at home to Saned Joniškis. The match takes place at Gytariai's artificial-turf stadium on Sunday, 10 November, at 13:00, followed by the championship awards ceremony.
