Following the 2025 season, Gintra of Šiauliai are shaping next season's squad. The club has extended the contract of 22-year-old defender and Lithuania international Tereza Romanovskaja for another year.
Tereza joined the Lithuanian champions in 2020 and immediately became an important part of the defence. She has won Lithuanian and Baltic League titles and represented Gintra in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa Cup.
The extension means number 17 will continue helping the Šiauliai side defend their domestic title and represent the city internationally.
'Gintra have become my second home. I have grown here as a player and a person and been given trust and responsibility. I am very happy to stay another season and believe we can achieve more together. Thank you to the club for its trust,' T. Romanovskaja said.
Club Director Mantas Radavičius emphasised stability: 'Tereza has shown over several years that consistent work produces results. Her performances have improved every year since joining. She has a strong character, good understanding of football and valuable consistency. We appreciate her professionalism and are delighted she will remain in yellow and black.'
Following the departure of Steve Beeks, the club is searching for a new Head Coach. Further squad news will be announced shortly.
