Gubernija, one of Šiauliai's best-known businesses and Gintra's main partner since last year, will continue supporting children's and women's football.

The market-leading Duonos gira brand remains on the women's first-team shirts next season, with Rugilė on academy kits.

President Gintaras Radavičius welcomed a partnership strengthened during its first year and hoped for even greater results ahead.

"We're pleased to strengthen ties with a company whose innovative approach extends to professional women's sport, children's positive activity and local athletes. Gubernija shows that the desire to win can unite not only teammates but like-minded people in different fields. That is the key to lasting success," he said at the signing.

Gubernija production director Artūras Perednis emphasised the brewery's continuing commitment to its community through action.

"We constantly seek ways to improve community wellbeing, create positive emotions and achieve top results. Sport brings many lasting, productive partnerships. We feel responsible for finding resources to make victories easier and ensure new talent is recognised and develops quickly," he said.

Owned by MV GROUP Production, Gubernija is one of Lithuania's oldest breweries, preserving authentic production and recipes. The country's only Lithuanian-owned brewery supports national and local wellbeing, sports, culture and Šiauliai businesses. Its Už Savus! Už Ukrainą! initiative supported war-affected Ukrainians, while during the pandemic it regularly donated products to different social groups.

Gintra have secured their 21st Lithuanian title and the right to represent Lithuania and Šiauliai in next year's Champions League. They also won this year's Baltic League.

Founded last year, Gintra's growing academy invites boys and girls to try football and parents to join its expanding community.
