Following an official invitation from LND Lazio, Gintra will participate in Italy's international Caput Mundi 2024 tournament.
The eight-team event runs from 26 February to 1 March, featuring teams from Wales, Ukraine, Montenegro, England and Canada alongside the Lithuanian champions.
Gintra were placed in Group A with hosts LND Lazio of Rome, Canada's Saltfleet Stoney Creek of Ontario and Wrexham AFC of Wales.
"We maintain partnerships with many overseas clubs, sharing news and plans. We thank LND Lazio for the invitation and hope to invite them to Šiauliai for a friendly in future. The timing suits our preparations perfectly, so we accepted immediately. We badly need serious friendlies now. It's an opportunity to change surroundings, break routine, make contacts, face strong foreign clubs, gain experience, especially for young players, and build team unity," said director Mantas Radavičius.
Gintra previously participated in Caput Mundi in 2016.
